Watching Dad

R&R watching Dad referee the boys state hockey tournament.  I loved hearing them yell "Dad!  Dad!" every time Jamie went onto the ice.

MN Boys State High School Hockey Tournament

Jamie was selected for a second year to referee the MN Boys State Hockey Tournament.  These pictures are from the Xcel Center in downtown Saint Paul, MN.  The stadium sells out for this popular tournament- over 18,000 people.  Another impressive line item for Mr. Halverson's "over achiever" list.

My dad and I like to...

At Kindergarten, Reagan completed the phrase "My dad and I like to" with  "go to Grandma Menne's cabin."  This is a picture of Reagan and his dad at Grandma Menne's cabin.  There is something about Minnesota summers; fleeing the city to go to the cabin for a day and a half.  The travel is always worth it.  It's just what we do in Minnesota.  We are lucky to have grandma menne's cabin to share.
