Much preparation and effort went into creating two official 2014
Cub Scout PineWood derby cars for competition.
This highly anticipated event is taken very seriously in the Halverson
household. I couldn’t help but join in
on the fun by creating my one of a kind Skunk car. I focused on esthetic value rather than
speed.
Reagan took third place and Riley took 2nd place
in their age groups, respectively.
I anticipate this yearly event will produce
a wide variety of wood cars that will serve as reminders of the simple fun we
had together as a family.
