Santa made a special appearance at Grandma Menne's this past Saturday. When Santa came Riley cried and Reagan hid under the table.

For a few years now, the Menne family gathers at Saint Josephs Church in Lino Lakes for a Christmas celebration.

At his 12 month doctors appointment, Riley weighed in at 32lbs and was 32.5 inches. He is wearing size 3T clothes. We were at Walmart this past weekend and he was laying down in the stroller drinking his bottle. His feet hang down by the wheels now and people are constantly giving me an odd look as if to say "why is your 3 year old in a stroller drinking a bottle?" Nevertheless, he is very affectionate and a "mamma's boy". I just can't believe that the little boy born 13 months ago weighing 8.2lbs has grown so fast!

November 19th will be Riley's 1st birthday. This past Sunday, God parents Ken & Lisa were kind enough to have his first birthday party at their home. Uncle Ken made a wonderful meal and Grandma Menne made the traditional chocolate birthday cake. Mickey Mouse was the theme if you are wondering why we are wearing Mouse Ears. Happy Birthday Giant Baby!

Laundry Basket

A co-worker told me to put a laundry basket in the tub so Riley wouldn't fall over. It worked really well. I am sure that this breaks every rule in every book that I never read. But, he loved it and I didn't break my back trying to hold him up-right!

Saturday & Sunday Mornings

I love Sat & Sun mornings at the Halversons. I typically get to sleep in a little since Jamie is a saint and gets up early with the kids. We usually hang out in our jammies all morning with sippy cups of milk, large cups of coffee and an energy drink for dad. We take turns watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and "Bulls & Bears" on fox news. What a lucky gal I am! (yes, Giant Baby's highchair is sitting on top of my wine fridge; but, I can still open it so don't be alarmed)

I took these pictures because of the mess- toys everywhere. Then I noticed, even with the volume of toys to play with; Riley still thought that the diapers in the basket were the best!

Great Grandma Byron

Adam and Sara Halverson (Jamie's brother and sisterinlaw) had a lovely birthday party for Jamie on Sunday. Adam grilled and made the birthday cake. Uncle Dave and Aunt Lynn came all the way from Arizon for the big event. It was a fun night with the extended family.
